Peter Henry Sloane entered Whangarei Boys’ High School in 1963 in Form 3Q and it is probably fair to say that he spent a somewhat unspectacular 3 years scholastically at the School. However he was to distinguish himself on the sporting field.

Joseph Edmund Morgan entered Whangarei Boys’ High School in 1959 although there is little actual record of his attendance until 1961 when he is recorded as being a member of Form VE, and in fact was the Form Captain that year.

Derek Ward, son of Doctor and Mrs S. H. Ward of Bank Street Whangarei, entered Whangarei High School as a Form two pupil in 1932, strangely enough the same year that Lloyd Trigg left the School.

Lloyd Allan Trigg, the son of Arthur and Cecelia Louisa Trigg, (nee White) was born at Houhora, Northland, New Zealand 5 May 1914. He entered Whangarei High School in 1927. Lloyd’s father died in 1927 and his mother, unwell for some time passed away in 1930.
